BEGIN Cooperative

For Sellers, Buyers, and Society.

Joint purchasing connects our suppliers with our member companies.
The Technical Intern Training, Specified Skilled Worker, and Training & Employment programs connect motivated young people from overseas with workplaces across Japan.
Both work together to help local communities grow in a healthy way — a cooperative grounded in Sanpo Yoshi: good for the seller, good for the buyer, good for society.

Our Philosophy

Sanpo Yoshi — good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society as a whole.
This principle, cherished by the Omi merchants of Edo-era Japan, is what we believe a cooperative was always meant to be.
Suppliers who join us not in pursuit of profit, but in the spirit of mutual support. Member companies that still believe in looking out for one another. And young friends from overseas who come to Japan to learn real skills.
By bringing these three together, we believe we can also help our local communities grow in a healthy way.
That is where BEGIN Cooperative begins.

Our Story

Why We Started BEGIN from the Ground Up

Our representative director spent five years at a major supervising organization and registered support organization, including three of those years as representative director and supervising manager.
That experience left us with one strong conviction: there ought to be a cooperative that stands closer to the daily realities of its member companies.
Member companies that still believe in mutual support, and young friends from overseas who come here to learn real skills — to rebuild the bridge between them from the ground up, we founded BEGIN Cooperative.

Our Services

📦

Joint Purchasing (Core Business)

Our core business and the primary purpose stated in our articles of incorporation. Through copyki.biz (joint purchasing of multifunction printers) and bulk procurement of IT, telecommunications, and office equipment, members can buy well below standard market prices. This is made possible by suppliers who join us in the spirit of mutual support, putting fellowship before profit.

🌱

Joint Acceptance of Technical Intern Trainees

A business stated in our articles of incorporation. Our supervising organization license application is in preparation with OTIT. Once issued, we will provide end-to-end support — using the i-LINK System — for training plan certification, audits, and OTIT reporting.

🌳

Training & Employment Program Support (Planned Addition, from 2027)

A new program launching April 2027. We plan to amend our articles of incorporation and apply for supervising support organization status. We connect motivated young people who want to build their career in Japan with member companies that still value the spirit of mutual support.

* Supervising organization activities (Technical Intern Training and Training & Employment) will begin only after the relevant authority grants our license.

What Makes BEGIN Different

Mutual support, treated as common sense.

📦

Joint Purchasing at the Core

Joint purchasing is our core business. Because our suppliers participate in the spirit of mutual support, we can offer members a marketplace with prices well below the standard market.

🌱

Personal Records Available to Each Individual Anytime

Certification notices, employment conditions, wage records, and other personal information can be viewed and downloaded (PDF) by the individual themselves — anytime, in their native language — through the i-LINK System (after license issuance). Access continues after leaving the company and after transferring to a new workplace. If the new workplace also uses the i-LINK System, data can be merged.

⚙️

Paperwork for Machines, People for the Field

The i-LINK System — our labor-management SaaS — takes care of the paperwork, freeing our staff to spend their time on site and with the member companies we work with.

🤝

Transparent Fees, Fair Rules

All fees are disclosed up front, with no hidden intermediary margins. We aim to be chosen not for the lowest price, but for the strength of mutual support behind every relationship.

Labor-Management SaaS — i-LINK System

Provided by ICOM Co., Ltd. — a cloud platform built for supervising organizations, member companies, and workers themselves.

When the i-LINK System takes care of the paperwork, our staff are free to spend their time on site and on supporting member companies directly.
It covers training plan documents, wage calculations, MWO applications, and residence-status applications.
Workers themselves can also access their own documents in their own native language (gradual rollout after our license is granted).

  • Auto-generation of audit reports and implementation status reports
  • A My Page in five languages, designed for the workers themselves
  • Wage calculator with the latest insurance rates for all 47 prefectures of Japan
  • Auto-fill for MWO application forms (both Tokyo and Osaka formats)
  • Online storage and printing of employment conditions and certification notices
  • Auto-generation of document handover packages when a worker transfers
