BEGIN Cooperative (hereinafter "the Cooperative") recognizes the personal information of member companies, foreign workers, and persons who contact us as important information assets forming the foundation of our business operations. We comply with relevant laws and regulations and strive to handle such information appropriately.

In particular, personal information related to TITP, SSW, and the Training & Employment Program directly affects the lives of workers and their families. As a basic policy, the Cooperative handles such information only to the minimum extent necessary for business operations and respects the rights of the individual to the greatest possible extent.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Cooperative handles personal information for the following purposes.

  • Responding to inquiries and sending various information
  • Membership procedures and communications related to cooperative operations
  • Provision of cooperative services, including joint purchasing
  • Support for member companies concerning TITP, SSW, and the Training & Employment Program after licensing
  • Notifications, reports, and ledger preparation based on relevant laws, including the Technical Intern Training Act, Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, Labor Standards Act, and Act on the Protection of Personal Information

2. General Prohibition on Third-Party Provision

The Cooperative does not provide personal information to third parties except where required by law or with the consent of the individual.
Reports to legally designated authorities such as OTIT, regional immigration services bureaus, and labor standards inspection offices are made in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. Respect for Individual Rights — Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, and Suspension of Use

The Cooperative responds appropriately within a reasonable scope to requests from individuals for disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information.
For requests from foreign workers themselves to disclose certification notices, employment condition documents, and application documents, we will develop a system capable of responding in their native language, in line with the spirit of Article 33 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, Articles 9 and 35 of the Technical Intern Training Act, Article 15 of the Labor Standards Act, and related provisions.

4. Security Control Measures

The Cooperative takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to otherwise ensure proper security control. Specifically, we combine organizational, personnel, physical, and technical security measures and require outsourced service providers to maintain equivalent control levels.

5. Joint Use

For efficient operation of cooperative business, personal information of member companies and foreign workers may be jointly used in systems including the labor management SaaS "i-LINK" provided by ICOM Co., Ltd. (icom-net.jp), our business partner. In such joint use, the purpose of use will be clearly stated and appropriate security control measures will be taken.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website uses only session cookies necessary to maintain functionality. As a general rule, we do not use third-party cookies for tracking purposes.

7. Revisions

This Privacy Policy may be reviewed as necessary in response to revisions of relevant laws and regulations, changes in the Cooperative's business, and other circumstances. Revised policies take effect when posted on this page.
